Service Description

comply.youmeyou.ai is an AI-powered compliance gap analysis tool that evaluates your organisation's data practices against the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

The Service does not constitute legal advice. The analysis is AI-generated and is intended as a starting point for compliance efforts. Users should validate all findings with qualified legal professionals before making compliance decisions.

User Accounts

User authentication is provided via Firebase (Google). When you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Free Tier

The free tier provides:

  • Up to 10 compliance scans per calendar month
  • Watermarked PDF compliance reports
  • Basic action plans

The free tier is provided on an as-available basis with no guaranteed uptime, service level agreement, or priority support. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.

Data Handling

We handle data differently depending on your authentication status:

Anonymous Scans

No data is stored. All scan inputs and analysis results are processed entirely in server memory and are permanently discarded after the compliance report is generated and delivered to you.

Authenticated Users

Report data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being stored in our database. Each record uses a unique initialisation vector. Users may delete their data at any time from the dashboard.

AI Disclaimer

The compliance analysis provided by the Service is generated by artificial intelligence models and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors.

  • The analysis identifies potential compliance gaps based on the information you provide. It does not guarantee completeness or accuracy.
  • The Service does not replace professional legal review, audit, or compliance certification.
  • We are not liable for any actions taken, or not taken, based on the analysis provided by the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, user interface, AI models, analysis methodologies, and all associated intellectual property, is the exclusive property of YouMeYou Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its underlying technology without prior written consent from the Company.

Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

  • We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any compliance analysis.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
